Smallest mech in the series, it is a powered armor that comes with its own box and sets of weapon. This made folks in the 1980s nostalgic about the StarCOM weapon systems.
Though logically, Diaclone existed longer than StarCOM. StarCOM most probably using the concepts from diaclone to create their series war machines.

One thing impressive of the diaclone line, the figures does not shy away from a mini figure with magnetic foot. Plenty of accessories and weapons to customize the powered armor.

The box to store the powered armor and armament, has not lacking of details. The inner space of the box has very good mechanical details.

Conclusion, the DA-39 despite being the most basic of all Diaclone toy comes with alot of accessories and alot of value playing. Compared to Hasbro transformers toys the Diaclone toy commands at a premium price. For collectors that do not mind paying premium, the DA-39 is a good army building set to create an impressive diorama with existing play sets.
